Federation Helps Gansu Women Study, Use LawsMarch 7, 2023Gansu (in Northwest China) Women's Federation in recent years has been using social media platforms, such as WeChat and Weibo, to publicize information about laws and regulations. In March 2020, the federation created a law-popularization column, Sister Long Learning Laws, on its WeChat and Douyin (TikTok China). In early 2021, the federation created another online column, Sister Long's Innermost Thoughts, under which psychologists provide psychological counseling to women, so they can better protect their rights and interests. Both columns have been hits with netizens. At the end of 2022, Sister Long's online lawpopularization columns were selected as one of the top 10 innovative cases of law popularization and governance in Gansu Province.
